All that said, I haven't been sitting on my bum like a lazy waste of space, I promise. Instead, I have been working on a new website with a Mix Tape Intervention -- called the Broadeners. Stop by and check us out for suggestions and "reviews" on the latest music, movies, and TV shows. From time to time, when we are really on top of things we will even have some news, gossip, and interesting facts about your favorite celebrities, shows, flicks, and songs.
On another side of things, we are also working on ATX Festival. An official announcement will be made in the next few weeks, but let's just say its TV based, set in Austin and just as much for the fans as the industry...so keep an eye out!!
Lastly I've made a few trips -- some for fun like celebrating Girl Around Town's 30th Birthday in New Orleans at the beginning of the month. You'll be interested to know we ran into James Marsden & Eric Stonestreet....which led to us to spend the weekend singing B-b-b-Bennie & the Jets (see #27Dresses) and Modern Family quotes about Fizbo (#IfYouDon'tKnowLookItUp).
The other trips were either family based (long weekend in Berkeley to witness firsthand the rapid expansion of my 4 year old nephew & 9 month old niece) or work/friend based (Los Angeles to pitch ATX and move forward towards its planning).
